The many moods of Luna (play and sulk)
Phase 1: SULK. Luna is sulking on the couch because we are not playing with her that instant. Literally 5 minutes has gone by and no one is paying any attention to her. Oh, the humanity of it all....
Phase 2: BEG/ANNOY. She is now trying to "cute" her way into getting something. In this case, she wants me to hold her stinky stick (bully stick/dehydrated bull penis that smells like a zoo).
Phase 3: PLAY. If the begging is unsuccessful she will revert to phase one and sulk again. This time she gets what she wants. She enjoys her stinky stick way more if you are holding it for her. What? You mean you don't want to hold a revoltingly smelly dehydrated bull's penis for an hour? If you don't hold it she will find a way to chew it on you. And in the process she will drool the stinky stick juice all over you. Sometimes it's better just to hold the dry end and hope she tires soon enough.
But she won't. That's it, Luna. I'm calling Ceasar Milan :)

New Additions to my Etsy shop (coming soon...)

I spent the afternoon trying to photograph some of my newest polymer clay pendants. "Trying" being the opporative word. First of all, it was tough cuz the face pictured above was doing her best to consume ALL of my attention. I went back and forth between throwing her ball and composing a shot. Not an easy task. Also, I don't have a tripod and can't seem to get enough light exposure to ward off the blurriness. Of course it did not help to have a terrier ram herself into my back ever 5 seconds to remind me to throw her toy...AGAIN. Some of the glossier pendants were particularly difficult to photograph. Luna is not a very good helper.
The reason for all this effort is that I'm hoping to add a jewelry section to my Etsy shop, Blame The Moon. I'm sort of nervous about that, I have never actually sold any of my jewelry before, I've always hoarded it for myself or gifted pieces to my mom (moms have to like what their kids make, it's a rule!). But there's a first time for everything so I might as well try and see if anyone else out there wants to actually purchase any of it. So here are some of my newest ones:
